World Cup #3
It's already been one week since I finished at the World Cup in Augsburg, Germany. Time flies! I had my best race by far but unfortunately missed out on the semi final by 0.53 seconds. Close but no cigar. My racing vastly improved over the World Cups which is a plus and I now see how important it is to get in some pre season racing before the big events of the year.
I'm now back training in Nottingham, England. On Thursday I fly to Calgary to compete in the Pan American and Canadian National Championships. This will be a very important event to gain World Ranking points. I've heard that some of the top Europeans are planning to attend which will make for one of the most exciting races we've hosted in Canada since the Minden World Cup in 1997.
After the Pan Ams I'll be heading home to Ottawa for the final training preparations leading into the World Championships. They're being held in La Seu D'Urgell, Spain September 9-13.
